It's going to be a long journey. From emergency relief to recovery.

We arrived on the scene in Northeast Tennessee and Western North Carolina on October 1st to immediately begin our emergency response initiative.

Through this response we were able to serve approximately 1,400 people:

  • tree-cutting and debris clean-up

  • search and rescue for unaccounted for persons

  • delivery of food, water, and fuel

  • transporting medical supplies, food, and water for hospice patients

  • salvaging valuables from flooded homes for homeowners

  • preparation and distribution of warm meals

  • mucking-out homes and basement of church

  • provision and repair of plumbing for church to offer showers to a community

Make A Difference Today

Imagine a local church...

in a community impacted by crises like severe flooding, fire, or civil unrest. The community often opposes and even oppresses those in the church.

They are there...

for the long term, helping to rebuild and restore the community. This crisis response opens doors that are often closed, transforming lives and hearts in the process.

When a crisis strikes...

this church, supported by other local churches in their network, trained through your generosity, and equipped with essential supplies like Hope Bags, first aid kits, and water purification systems, can respond effectively. They have resources available from a pre-established network emergency fund to provide immediate relief and support. This enables them to turn opposition into opportunities to share the love and hope of Jesus with those in desperate need.

That is what churches in...

HOC Crisis Response Networks are doing today. We currently have requests from dozens more churches to connect with a network, be trained and equipped, and to participate in the funding of an emergency fund. Help us act now.

The Impact
of Your Partnership

Connects the Churches

Foster collaboration between local churches, local resources, crisis response experts, and the global church.

Equips the Churches

Provide comprehensive training, including Whole Gospel Preparedness and Response Training (WGTs), a CRN Facilitation Guide, and Skills Modules in first aid, crisis counseling, public health, and disaster mitigation.

Resources the Churches

Enable them to draw from an emergency fund for planning, preparing for, responding to, and rebuilding from crises, supplementing their network emergency funds and providing accountability.

Establishes Leadership for Crisis Responses

Stabilize key local, national, and international leadership roles, including in-country regional coordinators, in-country crisis response trainers and advisors, national coordinators for three countries, and a half-time international director.

Your financial contribution transforms lives and communities. By contributing to Equip 40, you partner with us to bring hope, healing, and the message of Jesus to those who have no hope. Together, we can build stronger, more resilient communities through compassionate crisis response.

I now see how God will use crisis to bring true blessing and healing
to communities and that this is our church’s responsibility.

About Equip 40

There remains 3.2 billion souls, created in the image of God, that just like you and me did not choose where they were born, but who continue to lack access to the gospel. In these places there are a few small churches (gospel agents) that face persecution from these communities which leads to further isolation. Both communities suffer, one primarily with hopelessness and one with persecution and isolation.

We believe this is not the will of Jesus concerning his church. Therefore, we connect, resource, and equip the church to be the blessing in their communities they are designed to be, turning opposition into opportunity, especially amidst crisis. Crisis in these parts of the world are often systemic, chronic, and devastating

due to a lack of connection, training, and resources.

Join us in making a tangible difference in regions of increased spiritual oppression, isolation, and hopelessness. Your support can help build 40 new Church Crisis Response Networks (CRNs) in 3 limited-access countries over the next year.
