With the Church, Bringing Hope Over Crisis
Amidst the highest percentages of poverty and disaster, 3.2 billion people continue to lack access to the gospel. Even though persecuted, small isolated churches live in their midst.
Let them be the Heroes
Helping the persecuted church turn adversity into opportunity, we empower churches in hostile and vulnerable situations to live-out the commands of Jesus Christ, loving God and their neighbor by leading in bringing transformational hope in the midst crisis.
Join us in this exciting movement of connecting, resourcing, and equipping indigenous churches facing opposition, oppression, and isolation to rise above the persecution, and
lead the way in crisis response in their communities.
Our Approach
Imagine a local church...
in a community impacted by crises like severe flooding, fire, or civil unrest. The community often opposes and even oppresses those in the church.
They are there...
for the long term, helping to rebuild and restore the community. This crisis response opens doors that are often closed, transforming lives and hearts in the process.
When a crisis strikes...
this church, supported by other local churches in their network, trained through your generosity, and equipped with essential supplies like Hope Bags, first aid kits, and water purification systems, can respond effectively. They have resources available from a pre-established network emergency fund to provide immediate relief and support. This enables them to turn opposition into opportunities to share the love and hope of Jesus with those in desperate need.
That is what churches in...
HOC Crisis Response Networks are doing today. We currently have requests from dozens more churches to connect with a network, be trained and equipped, and to participate in the funding of an emergency fund. Help us act now.
“I now see how God will use crisis to bring true blessing and healing
to communities and that this is our church’s responsibility.”

Glorified by our Love
"A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another. By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.” ~ Jesus
John 13:34-35
Commanded to love God, our neighbors, and each other (Mk. 12:28-34) we endeavor to connect, train, and resource the persecuted church to live-out the commands of Jesus Christ in loving God and by loving their neighbor, especially in times of crisis.

WHAT GUIDES US
"And Jesus went throughout all the cities and villages teaching...and proclaiming the gospel...healing every disease and every affliction. When he saw the crowds, he had compassion for them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd. Then he said to his disciples, "The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few; therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest."
Matthew 9:35-38
"We need what you are doing. We are trying but we need help. We need more organizations doing what you are doing. We will be here a long time, living and working in these communities."

"If our security and happiness in the future were manifestly secured the way the world secures its future, no on would ask us about it. There would be no unusual hope to see."
